Curious: 

  • about the other person,
  • who they are,
  • where they are coming from,
  • what their thinking process is,
  • and what their body language is telling you.

Empathetic:

  • To their situation.
  • Putting yourself in their shoes.
  • What do they want?

Patient:

  • keeping your cool.
  • not in a rush,
  • the outcome is more important than the speed.
