Three C’s – Character, Commitment and Capacity

When looking at the traits of high achievers, including the whole area of Negotiating skills, there is a strong link to the three C’s
Character. What the person is made up of – Integrity, values, honesty,win win, how they react, treating people fairly, thinking WIIFY – what’s in it for the other person.
Commitment – Do they have the ability to commit all their resources to getting it done. Are they a 100% person – do they stick with it until it is done, will they be in the zone, can you trust them, do they have focus?
Capacity – To they have the energy, the organising the skills, a network of like minded people, the number of hours required, 24/7 if necessary to meet deadlines. Do they have the ability to learn quickly?
All these questions need to be asked, thought through when picking people for the right jobs. Everyone has strengths BUT are they the strengths that you need? Find out quickly and go for it.
