Power in Negotiations
February 9, 2010
It’s interesting to watch the posturing in Iran. The leaders say they are now enriching Uranium to the 20% level. Is this internal posturing to save the leadership, who were elected after questionable elections or is it because they have external negotiations with the super powers. Either way it looks like a ploy to create some power at the negotiation table.
You can always create power in a negotiation if you have something that other people want – and there is usually something. Use it or lose it, timing is key.
