Pinch to flinch when Negotiating

As all good negotiators know when someames a price, you should always flinch in surprise. If not, you are confirming that their price is OK with you. So to remind yourself to flinch all you need to do at that point is do a pretend pinch on yourself and do ooh that was more than I was expecting, or something similar.

If you pay the asking price then you are fuelling the other sides profits AT YOUR EXPENSE
