Chris Huhne has got himself into a really difficult situation. It is alleged that he negotiated with someone else to take his speeding points many years ago, when he already had nine points on his license. This would have meant a disqualification from driving. The Mail on Sunday reports that he is now negotiating to cover up the truth and they have taped conversations. Hulme apparently has a bruising style of getting things done and if you negotiate with people leaving them feeling hurt they have a habit of coming back and haunting you. People remember when you let them down or bully them and seem to look for a way of getting you back.
It seems no co-incidence that this story has leaked just when millionaire Huhne is going through a difficult divorce.
