Buying a TV or similar can be very hard to get a discount. I bought a Sony 32″ widescreen TV today – list price £1399 – for £998. No negotiation was necessary – I found it discounted in my local Dixons and then got the Sony shop to price match it. All it took was an hour of research over a couple of days. You should have seen the look on the face of the salesman in the Sony shop when he found out I was telling the truth. Research for results – the same TV had almost 6 different price points on my research – I ended up buying from the shop with the best service at the best price.
