Are cash flow problems are caused by an inability to Negotiate?

“You couldn’t make it up if you tried” That is an expression that my mentor Alan Weiss uses a great deal. He tells me I must relate stories in my keynote speeches to things that happen to me on a daily basis. I have two clients who I have invested time with and they intend to use me to help them and their people negotiate better. However here comes the twist, they can’t afford to use me YET because they have cash flow problems. This of course is “The Law of Cause and effect”.They don’t negotiate properly so they have cash flow problems, chicken and egg. One long term client of mine has increased their fee income by £250k in 6 months after using me for just 6 days, and that doesn’t count the extra value in the business acumen that has acrued on an on going basis.
